We are thrilled to kick off year two of the MS disABILITY MegaConference Adult Self-Advocate track! This is an opportunity designed for adults (18 years or older) who are ready to grow their self-advocacy skills, build meaningful connections, and be part of a powerful movement across Mississippi. Participants will learn from one another, share experiences, and help strengthen the voice of self-advocates statewide. Only 20 spots are available, so don’t miss your chance to be part of this empowering experience! A separate application is required to participate.
If you qualify and would like to attend the self-advocate track of the MegaConference, you will not register for both the conference and the self-advocacy program - you must pick ONE.
If you are unsure whether the general conference or the self-advocacy track is better suited for you or your loved one, contact Leslie Junkin at leslie@msccd.org.
(Please note: the self-advocate conference is NOT respite care. If an attendee needs individualized care or assistance with toileting, they must be accompanied by a support person.)
